Gartner positions Vectra as the only visionary for its 2018 Magic Quadrant for Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems*
Learn why Vectra was the only vendor positioned in the Visionaries quadrant.
According to Gartner, one of the reasons standalone IDPSs are often deployed is "for network-based intrusion and threat detection using additional methods like advanced analytics (such as user and entity behavior) to detect threats that have bypassed other controls."
In addition, IDPS will evolve such that "by year-end 2020, 60% of IDPS deployments will be augmented with the use of analytics methods, like machine learning and user and entity behavior analytics, up from less than 10% today."
We believe we are positioned as a visionary for our use of machine learning and analytics to automate threat hunting, triage, correlation and prioritization, which reduces the security operations workload by up to 29X.
